Welcome to VRSimpits.com!

Greetings! I'm vonrickenbecker, a lifelong aviation fanatic, flight simulator enthusiast, and real-world pilot. By day I'm a mechanical engineer for a well known multinational corporation, but in my free time I design and produce bespoke flight simulator accessories (that is, when I'm not flying for real or under a VR headset!).

My goal in founding VRSimpits.com is to provide the flight sim community with incredibly realistic and functional hardware centered around First World War aviation - an era that has sadly been neglected in the peripheral market up to this point. I may in the future branch out to other eras as well; my interests are broad and numerous, as my very patient wife can attest!

In the future, I plan to use this blog to keep you up-to-date on my R&D for new products, share information that other simmers and pilots might find interesting, and generally keep you informed of goings-on with the company.

I hope very soon to share with you a roadmap for where I want to take this new initiative, and some very exciting products that are in the works.
