Teaser: Major Product Updates on the way!

Greetings all!

It has been a while since my last update, but that is only because I’ve been too busy with development and production to take the time to write anything. Today’s post is a less of an update, and more of an announcement to stay tuned for new product info in the very near future.

I am very excited to announce that the next product of the VRSimpits lineup -- the Tampier Quadrant -- is nearing the end of development, and you won’t have to wait much longer to get your hands on one! The design of the unit is complete, and I am in the process of making the production molds for the cast-resin components. The last piece of the puzzle to finish is the mounting system, which I am finalizing as we speak. I am tentatively forecasting mid-September as the release date for this quadrant. This is a little later than the mid-2020 time-frame that I had originally targeted, but complications arose as complications always do, so I’m not too unhappy with the revised timeline.

Along with the Tampier Quadrant, I will also be releasing the VRS Hub unit. This is the “brain” which the Tampier Quadrant and future products such as rudder bars, switches, etc. will use to communicate with your PC. With the VRS Hub, all of your VRSimpit accessories can be connected to your PC with only one USB connection. My goal is to make the VRSimpits product line completely modular, meaning that you can pick and choose exactly which products and features you want, and the VRS Hub will support them all.
